2024.02.01 10:30AM: We are aware of the issues with creating applications at this time. We are currently in the process of resolving the issue and will post another update when it has been resolved.

2024.01.31: The Fall 2024 Application will open at 9:00 AM Korean Standard Time on February 1st, 2024.

Before starting your application, please read through the Initial Application Preparation Guide. This will give you details on what you need to prepare before starting your application on the online system. You will be prompted to upload certain files while you complete the online application, and this guide will give you specifics on how to prepare those in advance. Failure to prepare your application in accordance with the guide can lead to processing delays.

The online application form is not designed for nor supports mobile browsers. Please complete it on a desktop browser (optimized for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge). We do not provide any support for any issues with the online application system on unsupported browsers.

We recommend that applicants join the official Facebook group for this term (EPIK Fall 2024). Here we will post updates throughout the application period, you may ask questions here as well, and you can meet others applying for the term.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

The EPIK application is similar to rolling admission. This means that we will process applications in the order that we receive them, and earlier submission of your application followed by the complete required documents package after a successful interview will lead to a higher chance of successful placement in one's preference. However, as the final placement decision is made by the Offices of Education (the employers), the EPIK Office can never guarantee placement in one's preference.
For direct applicants, we will begin reviewing applications in the order received in the weeks following the opening of applications. At that time, we will inform applicants whether or not they have been selected for an interview. It will take some time to review applications, so please be patient in waiting for a reply from us as this may take some time.
For applicants applying through an official Recruitment Agency or one of our partner MOU/MOA Organizations, please be sure to contact them directly first before creating an account/submitting an application for specific directions and guidelines.

TIP: While some documents are not necessary for the initial application, we do recommend that applicants begin the process of obtaining their documents as listed in the Required Documents section in advance. These only need to be submitted after a successful interview, but having them ready to go sooner rather than later would be beneficial overall for your application, especially as some document processing may still be delayed due to COVID-19. However, please note that having these ready earlier does not guarantee acceptance at any stage of the application process. For more information, please review the attached General Required Documents Guide.

If you have any questions that are not answered by the 'FAQ' and the Initial Application Preparation Guide, please feel free to send them to epik@korea.kr.
